  • A regular support worker with backup options for greater consistency
  • Clear communication with participants, families and support coordinators
  • Support focused on choice, independence and meaningful outcomes

Our story

We understand every family’s journey is unique—because we’ve lived it too.

Our team brings professional expertise together with personal experience. That lived understanding shapes the patient, flexible and genuinely caring support we provide.

Understanding autism

Supporting our own son, who lives with Level 2 ASD, has taught us the importance of patience, encouragement and truly listening.

Adapting with care

Supporting our child with heart disease has shown us how thoughtful planning, empathy and adaptability can make all the difference.

Advocating for individual needs

Our grandson’s journey with autism, communication differences and specialist schooling has strengthened our belief in individualised support and strong advocacy.

The story behind our name

Where did “Nigel” come from?

Nigel is more than a name. It comes from our two eldest grandchildren—Moroni (Ni) and Angel (gel). Bringing their names together gave us Nigel.

Our grandchildren are a huge inspiration behind what we do every day. Nigel Support Services was built from love, family and understanding. Behind every service is a real story, real people and a real reason we care so deeply.

It’s not just a job—it’s personal. Every participant is supported with the same care, dignity and respect we would want for our own family.

Meet our team

Friendly, experienced support from people who genuinely care.

Our team brings practical experience across community access, daily living, autism, epilepsy, mobility support and more.
